A smoking cessation program is often reimbursed by your health insurer through the basic insurance, usually up to a maximum of two times per year.

How do you quit smoking with Ancora?

1. Start

The program starts by completing our sign-up form. After you register, you’ll get access to the Ancora platform. You then complete a short intake questionnaire about your smoking habits, lifestyle, and routines. Together with a professional, you set a quit date or create a preparation plan leading up to that moment.

2. Coaching

You receive professional coaching, fully online and at times that fit your schedule. You’ll have scheduled sessions (video or phone) and ongoing support in between via the app and chat, especially when things feel difficult.

3. Stay smoke-free

Quitting is one step; staying smoke-free is the next. That’s why you continue working on relapse prevention: you learn to recognize high-risk situations, create a Plan B, and build confidence in your ability to keep going. Through the Ancora app, you track your progress and stay in touch with your coach.

How do we set you up for sucess?

We’ve already supported thousands of people through our online programs. For Ancora Quit Smoking, we use an evidence-based behavioral approach, aligned with the National Care Standard for Tobacco and Nicotine Dependence and the latest clinical guidelines for quitting smoking. Our coaching is grounded in behavioral science and is continuously improved using insights from data and real-world experience.
Personal approach

We help you set goals that fit you. Together with your coach, you create a practical plan tailored to your life and preferences: what are your high-risk moments, what triggers you, and which steps are realistic for you? You work step by step toward a smoke-free life.

Everything in one app

In the Ancora app, you can securely chat and video call with your coach. You’ll also find a library with reliable information, short exercises, and tips tailored to your quit goal. Between sessions, you receive extra support through app messages and reminders.

Intensive coaching

In the first 12 weeks, you receive intensive, personal support from a certified quit-smoking coach. You’ll have regular check-ins and you can also reach out easily in between via in-app chat, especially when it’s hard.

Lifestyle support

Quitting smoking often affects more than nicotine alone. That’s why we also focus on lifestyle, helping you manage stress and cravings more effectively. We help you build healthy alternatives and micro-habits, so quitting doesn’t unintentionally get replaced by unhealthy routines.
